Rules

  • Each slip owner or lessee is required to keep their area clean and free of debris.
  • Swimming off or near boat docks is prohibited.
  • Running, horseplay, skateboards, or roller blades are not allowed on the docks. While on docks or ramps, respect the rights of others by keeping all excessive noise at a minimum.
  • Dock finger and walkways must be clear of all obstacles, including all personal watercraft (paddle boats, canoes, rafts, wave runner, jet skies).
  • Cleaning fish on docks is prohibited.
  • All boats are to enter and leave the dock area at idle speed. A “No Wake” speed is mandatory within 20 feet of docks, other watercraft and inside buoyed areas adjacent to docks.
  • Dock utility service is restricted to slip owner or lessee. No ship to shore electricity hookups for the purpose of refrigeration and utilities for more than 72 hours will be allowed without prior approval.
  • There will be no cooking, overnight sleeping or living on watercraft docked in a slip.
  • No docking is permitted on the outside of any dock. Permanent mooring and/or tying up to the seawall, ramps, and stairs is strictly prohibited.
  • Tarps, curtains, or any other material are not to be used for wind or sun barricades on docks or slips without prior approval.
  • Special wiring beyond what is available is prohibited without prior approval. If permitted, cost of wiring is to be paid by the slip owner.
  • No use of individual slips by anyone other than slip owner or lessee unless on a temporary, short-term basis authorized by the slip owner or lessee. Sub-leasing or sale of slips to any persons not residing on the premises is prohibited.
  • Any child on or near the dock under the age of twelve (12) must wear a personal flotation device at all times and must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Storage and use of combustible material on the docks is prohibited.
  • Fueling of boats, jet skis or any motorized vehicle is strictly prohibited on the boat docks.
  • Only one dock storage container per slip owner or lessee is allowed. Effective April 30, 2010, dock storage containers must conform to set standards and be approved by the Architectural Review Committee.
  • No trash containers, other than those provided by the Association or installed in a water raft, shall be located on any dock.
  • Boat slip hoists must be correctly installed, in good condition, and properly maintained. Slip owners are responsible for incorrectly installed hoists that damage the dock structure. When lifts are installed or removed, the slip must be brought back to it’s original condition.
  • Boats must fit the slip and must not protrude more than one foot past the dock well, and may not encroach more than one foot into the center walkway.
